Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research fellow (JRF) in Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh under ICMR funded research Project with following details.

Project Title: Development of an Intelligent blood Extraction Device

Project Investigator: Dr. Ravimohan Suryanarayana Mavuduru

Co-Principal Investigators: Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. PS Rana, Dr. Neeru Jindal,Thapar Institute of Engineering and technology, Patiala

Dr. Smita Pattnaik, Dept of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.

Name of Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of Position: 01 (One)

Duration of the Project: 03 (Three) Years

Location :- Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala

Duration of the appointment: This is a purely temporary appointment, and the position is available immediately. It will initially be offered for one year term, subjected to renewal based on performance and availability of funds. However, it may be terminated without prior notice in case of unsatisfactory performance.

Monthly Fellowship (including HRA): Rs. 31000/-

Essential Qualification:

M.E./ M.Tech/MCA in CSE/IT/ECE or an equivalent degree.

or BCA and MCA.

Desirable Qualification:

Orientation towards research and development.
Having the knowledge of programming, hardware.
Machine Learning, Image Processing, Data Science.
Good communication and scientific writing skills.
Candidates who qualified GATE/NET exams will be preferred.
